Celebration of Life - July 2nd - 4th, 2009
On Thursday, July 2nd, Jonathan Maracle and Broken Walls will be in Port Graham to help kick off our celebration wth great Native American drumming and worship music. Also, Olen and North Pacific Rim Housing Authority will provide a barbecue cookout. We hope to have additional musical guests join in the fun too.
On Friday, we’ll have contests, games, prizes, talent show, Native art raffle and the Native food cookoff. Also on Friday evening will be the recognition of new tribal members and other awards ceremony.
Saturday afternoon will be a parade and some more fun games/contests.
Housing will be available to our out of town guests. (Thank you Port Graham Corporation.)
How can you help?
1. Come and participate, bring your kids.
2. Practice for the talent show.
3. Think about what you will bring to the potluck.
4. Fund-raising food tables are welcome all three days.
5. Help us find contributions for the prizes.

PORT GRAHAM VILLAGE COUNCIL LIBRARY
The Port Graham Village Council acquired a Basic Library Service Grant from
the Institute of Museum and Library Services. One of the goals was to equip our
library with a personal computer(PC) so that our community can use it to find
jobs with the State of Alaska Jobs site and to enroll in with the State of Alaska
Library system. Also to check emails and general research.
We will be conducting a survey to find out what the community needs are with
our library and hope to develop a good program.
Here are some of the rules for the computer use at the Library:
Thirty(30) minute time limit per person.
ABSOLUTLY NO DOWNLOADING OR GAME PLAYING– We have limited internet
service.
NO Drinks or Food allowed while using the computer.
Do Not access restricted sites.
If any of the rules are broken you will lose your privilege to use our computer.
Hours of Operation are: 9:00am-12:00pm; 1:00pm-5:00pm
